The nursing staff in the Ortho ward at Peninsula were similarly great. Not a gloomy face, always happy to help and take care of me. I also found all those potentially awkward moments (eg removal of catheter) to be professionally handled and non-events. Ok, the bed sucked and the food was marginal (don't order the pancakes or waffles).
I was given a copy of "Dem Bones" by one of my co-workers to give me a better grounding on anatomy. I got everyone I could on the medical team to sign it.
